It is a great (9 times wider than Italy) country constituted to a large extent from very cold steppes in winter and warm in summer a little inhabited.
It is a grey nation, with scarce attractions, with a flat landscape and with horrible city.
It is the richest of the ex Soviet oriental countries, thanks to huge oil layers, but in general the way of life is still low. At the end of the years '90 the capital has been moved by the great one, decentralized and Soviet Almaty to the more central and small Astana.
