Sadly famous country for the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein and for the two bloody and useless international wars of the years '90 and 2000. Unfortunately today Iraq is dead, destruction, poverty and above all so much hate, produced by an oppressive dictatorship and by the hasty and violent way with which the west has looked for in vain to resolve it. Yet Iraq evokes names, places and magic historical periods as the Mesopotamia: the earth between the Tigris and the Euphrates; how Babylon: the vast city of the antiquity (one whole day needed to cross it); how Baghdad with its turquoise domes; as the fables of One Thousand and One Nights, that they don't exist anymore here by now, replaced by the Soviet rifles and by the American intelligent bombs.
