It is a small tropical African nation, whose territory entirely develops itself along the two banks of the River Gambia for around 11.000 Kmqs (how halves Tuscany), surrounded from Senegal; it overlooks the Atlantic ocean near the mouth of the river. The territory is almost entirely level, being constituted by the alluvial deposits of the River Gambia. Except some modest crop of subsistence, agriculture almost exclusively produces peanuts.
