It is a state of Latin America, that as points out the name, it is set to horse of the equator , to a large extent on the Andes and partly in the Amazonian forest.
The Andean landscape, overhung by the great volcanos of the Chimborazo and the Cotopaxi, it is beautiful and enriched by fascinating colonial (Quito and Cuenca) historical centers and by colored native (Otavalo and Ambato) markets. As to a large extent of the countries of southern America, the poverty and the unemployment unfortunately push to the deception and the thefts, therefore open eyes and to never trust anybody! The islands Galapagoses (national park from 1959) belong to Ecuador, they are one of the world sanctuaries of the nature, principal tourist destination of the nation.
