The territory is constituted from a vast undulated lowland with numerous lakes and swamps.
The climate is continental, very cold in winter and rainy.
It's a poor country, grey, with great breedings and many wide forest; few layers of natural gas and oil and great reserves of peat. The capital Minsk is the greatest city and the most important cultural and industrial center of the nation.
Belarus is the most "sovietic" of former URSS country, however it's a State in economic growth, well organized, ordered, with big civil development and decent standard of living.
